AgiBot Surpasses 10,000 New Production Orders (智元机器人)
AgiBot has added over 10,000 new production orders for its humanoid robots to its supply chain, specifically for the Lingyue and Yuanzheng series. The manufacturing is being handled by Lingyizhi Manufacturing in Dongguan. This milestone indicates that Zhiyuan’s production scale in the first quarter of 2026 has already exceeded the total global humanoid robot shipments for the entire year of 2025, which stood at approximately 13,000 units. The company’s CEO previously stated that 10,000 units had been delivered globally as of March 2026, with a revenue target of 10 billion yuan by 2027. [1]
Unitree Robotics Opens First Direct-Sale Flagship Store in Beijing (宇树科技)
Unitree Robotics officially opened its first direct-sale flagship store at the Yintai in88 mall in Wangfujing, Beijing, on April 29. The store, located in a prime commercial district alongside major technology and automotive brands, will be fully open to the public during the May Day holiday. Customers can interact closely with the company’s robot dogs and humanoid robots. In related news, Unitree CEO Wang Xingxing stated at the Digital China Summit that humanoid robots are expected to surpass human sprint records within the next two to three months, emphasizing that high-quality data is the core driver of this rapid advancement. Qingtianzu Completes Hundreds of Millions Yuan Pre-A Funding (擎天租)
Qingtianzu, a robot leasing platform and subsidiary of Zhiyuan Robotics, announced the completion of a Pre-A funding round worth hundreds of millions of yuan. Investors include CP Group’s CP Robotics, Changxin Holdings, Meige Intelligence, and Lansi Technology. The platform currently has over 4,000 robots deployed across more than 100 cities in China and plans to utilize the new funds to build a national fulfillment network, further expanding the robot-as-a-service (RaaS) model. Third China Embodied Intelligence and Humanoid Robot Industry Conference Opens in Beijing (第三届中国具身智能与人形机器人产业大会)
The Third China Embodied Intelligence and Humanoid Robot Industry Conference opened on April 28 at the Zhongguancun National Innovation Demonstration Zone in Haidian, Beijing. The event highlighted the transition of the industry from technological development to commercial value realization. Haidian District is now home to approximately 300 embodied AI companies. A notable participant, Linker Hand (灵心巧手), was highlighted as the world’s only company to achieve 10,000-unit mass production of high-degree-of-freedom dexterous hands, capturing over 80% of the global market share. Additionally, the Beijing Robot Industry Association launched the “Humanoid Robot Industrial Chain Collaborative Development Working Group” during the event. [5]
MagicLab Hosts Global Embodied Intelligence Innovation Conference and Launches New Models (魔法原子)
MagicLab hosted the Global Embodied Intelligence Innovation Conference (GEIS) in Silicon Valley, showcasing Chinese advancements in embodied AI on a global stage. During the event, the company launched the Magic-Mix world model, which includes the WAM and Creator engines. MagicLab also introduced the MagicHand H01, featuring 20 degrees of freedom and 44 tactile sensors, and the MagicBot X1, a 180cm, 70kg humanoid robot capable of 7x24 continuous operation.
