National Embodied Intelligence Pilot Base Opens in Hangzhou (国家人工智能应用中试基地)
The National AI Application Pilot Base was formally launched in Hangzhou’s Binjiang district. Structured as a mixed-ownership entity led by state-owned capital, the base aims to provide robotics companies with centralized access to compute, datasets, model services, and scenario testing. Eighteen companies, including Unitree, Galaxy General, and Xinghaitu, signed on as co-builders, while three major universities will co-run an industry observatory at the site. [1]
Chinese Robotics Brands Expand Presence in Central and Eastern Europe (中国机器人)
At the Warsaw Industry Automatica exhibition in Poland, Chinese brands including Pudu Robotics, Zhiyuan, Unitree, and FAOWEIWEI were prominent exhibitors. Polish distributors reported strong adoption of Chinese robots for logistics and industrial automation, citing favorable price-to-performance ratios. One distributor noted they have purchased over 500 Chinese logistics robots, highlighting the growing influence of Chinese manufacturers in the European market. [4]

Nationwide Drone Airspace Overhaul Takes Effect (UOM适飞空域)
China has activated a new national drone airspace map, marking the largest update to designated flying zones since the UAV management regulations were introduced. The Civil Unmanned Aircraft Comprehensive Management Platform (UOM) now provides minute-level airspace data updates. The changes significantly expand designated airspace, particularly in suburban and industrial zones. Guangdong’s designated airspace increased by 16% to cover 57% of the province, while Sichuan and Guangxi opened over 80% and 84% of their respective areas. In these designated zones, drones flying under 120 meters that are pre-registered with UOM no longer need flight plan approval from air traffic control. [1]
